Saves time
- Telegraphic transfer is one of the quickest and most effective ways to make payments (or receive funds) worldwide in as little as 24 hours. However, due to time zone differences please enquire and let us know of your need to enable us help you.
Security
- A message is transferred by ANZ Royal Bank’s secure SWIFT system to our overseas correspondent instructing them to pay a beneficiary a specified sum of money at the request of our customer. The beneficiary may bank with ANZ Bank or another bank.
Convenience
- We understand that a lot of time and effort can be spent by our customers in reconciling payments / receipts. ANZ Royal Bank’s Internet banking services sitting alongside our Payment Services provides you a daily update of payments made and funds received.

Drafts
- Drafts are paper-based and slower than Telegraphic Transfers.
- They carry most of the features outlined above.
