Can I allow other people to access my ANZ Royal Bank accounts using ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking?
To protect your personal information and your money, you must not allow other people to access your personal ANZ Royal Bank accounts through ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking using your User ID.
Can I allow my employees to access my ANZ Royal Bank accounts using ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking?

Business customers (i.e. the account holder is an entity), may authorise someone known to them, usually their employees, access to their ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking linked accounts as an authorised user. The account holder must also nominate whether that person will be given 'value' or 'non value' access.

  • Non-value access allows an authorised user to view information about the account holder's linked ANZ Royal Bank accounts on ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking. Authorised Users with non-value access cannot use ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking to perform transactions on the account holder's ANZ Royal Bank linked accounts on ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking;
  • Value access allows an authorised user to operate and transact on the account holder's linked ANZ Royal Bank accounts on ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking in the same way that the account holder can.

What happens if someone else discovers (or I think they have discovered) my password?

You should immediately:

  • Change your password. This is easily done by accessing the My Profile tab in ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking and selecting Change Password.
  • Notify ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking Support Centre and check the transactions on your accounts.

Remember that passwords are case sensitive. We recommend that you input your password with the 'Caps Lock' off.

ANZ Royal Bank Internet Banking passwords must:

  • be between 8 to 16 characters long with no spaces
  • not easily be identifiable or based on easily accessible personal information (such as family, street names or birth dates)
  • include at least one letter and one number – ideally with both upper and lower case letters (For example: PaSSwo1R2d).
