ANZ Royal is committed to provide the best support to our most valuable resources—the people, through various learning and development programs. We aim to develop you, our people, for success by ensuring you have the right skills and knowledge to consistently succeed and outperform in your current role, while providing ongoing learning and development opportunities to support your career with ANZ.

To this end, ANZ Royal Bank invests heavily in staff learning and development agenda every year. A wide range of training activities which include classroom, online learning, ongoing coaching, on-the-job training and offshore secondments are available. These cover different skill sets and competencies ranging from induction, sales and service, systems, products knowledge, credit skills, management and leadership to other professional development courses.

In addition to the in-house training programs we have in country, the overseas training and secondments become another important agenda at ANZ Royal. It provides important opportunities for employees to gain experiences and exposures to multiple markets where ANZ operates and ultimately bring the international expertise and knowledge back to the country. As an example, we have sent our people to different countries for offshore training and secondments across the region such as, Australia, Singapore, China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia and Philippines.

An external study support program has also been provided to our people to continue their tertiary study. We believe that tertiary education plays a significant role in ANZ Royal achieving success and is important for both the professional and personal growth of our people. Each and every year we sponsor our employees to study at tertiary institutions of their choice for professional academic qualifications including Master programs and ACCA.
